Altanuta is made in the Alto Adige region of Italy. Situated in the Northeast corner close to the Austrian border, the grapes are grown on the rugged slopes of high altitude vineyards which arose from seismic activity long before our time. The combination of high altitude, composition of soil, and close exposure to the sun all contribute to the character of Altanuta. The result is a Pinot Grigio that is light, crisp and refreshing. The wine is bottled in slightly tinted glass to protect from sun and light and ensure that Altanuta tastes as fresh as the day it was bottled. |
