The original Italian hazelnut liqueur, Frangelico's contemporary flavor profile is now accented with the flavors of cocoa and vanilla beans, updating the spirit for the modern palate. It is produced by the house of Barbero, one of Italy's most renowned wine and spirits companies. Established by esteemed patriarch Bartolomeo Barbero in 1891, the enterprise is presently run by the fifth generation of the direct Barbero line. The family still produces Frangelico in Canale, a small village near Turin, at the picturesque foothills of the Italian Alps, close to where it was first created over three hundred years ago. |
