Square 1682, located in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is the city's first LEED Gold certified restaurant. James Beard Award-winner and executive chef Guillermo Tellez, formerly of the Charlie Trotter and Stephen Starr empires, offers a New American menu that draws inspiration from Philadelphia's rich culinary landscape and international influences, from Tellez's childhood in Mexico as well as his many travels throughout Europe and the United States. Dishes are hand-crafted using sustainable and organic ingredients, from local seasonal produce to free-range meats and ocean-friendly seafood. The bar serves expertly mixed cocktails conceived by Master Mixologist Jacques Bezuidenhout; an extensive artisanal wine list created by Master Sommelier Emily Wines; and a local craft beer list curated by General Manager Anna Schneider. The restaurant seats up to 90 guests and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
